Career History

Muhamed holds a combined Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney, and was admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales in 2016. He began his legal career practising in Sydney before relocating to Canberra in 2022. He joined Mazengarb Arora Family Lawyers as a Senior Lawyer in January 2026.

A v Skewes [2024]

Muhamed acted for the mother as solicitor-advocate in a parenting dispute concerning whether final consent parenting orders should be reconsidered under the newly enacted 65DAAA of the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth).

As a matter of interpretation, the Court accepted the mother’s submission that, despite previous authority to the contrary, s 65DAAA allowed reconsideration of part only of a suite of final parenting orders, rather than mandating an all-or-nothing approach.
